This 1929 Dodge Brothers (convertible), previously owned by Resident Maharani of Sundergarh in Odisha, is one of the largest, heaviest and most luxurious vehicles ever produced by Dodge. The Senior 6 Sports Tourer was aimed at the lower end of the luxury market and competed with such cars as the Auburn 8, Buick Master, Hupmobile 8, Marmon 8 and Studebaker President. It was fitted with a 4 litre, 78 HP 6 cylinder engine which, according to the sales literature of the day, was "supercharged with power", "contemptuous of grades - scornful of bad roads and detours". An original sales brochure boasted how the car would cruise at 70 mph.
